Borosilicate glass is also lead and BPA-free, and safer than ordinary tempered glass, Why? Because it contains boron trioxide, making it near shatter-proof. It will withstand strong knocks and has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion. This means it will not crack under pressure or extremes of temperature.

You can fill them with harmless colored water for fun!
